Master's Programme in "Banking & Finance"
Since the academic year 2017/18 we offer the specialized Master's Programme in "Banking & Finance". All courses are held in English.
For students who started their studies before WS 2017 and would like to complete the Master's program in Banking and Finance, the following applies:
Note: The EK Principles of Finance can only be recognized if it was taken with Prof. Gaunersdorfer or Prof. Gehrig, i.e. if it was not taken before SS 2011.
Finance Courses for other Master's Programmes
Master's Programmes in Business Administration and International Business Administration
Within the scope of the master studies Business Administration and International Business Administration we offer an introductory financial course in German and a specialization in the form of a minor (in which courses from the master study Banking and Finance have to be completed) in English:
- VO Management II - Finance (2 ECTS, npi, WS)
- (introductory phase Master Business Administration and International Business Administration)
- Minor Banking and Finance (20 ECTS)
Students of the Master's programmes Business Administration and International Business Administration who want to write a master thesis in the field of banking and finance have to complete the minor Banking and Finance and should attend a seminar within this minor.
Master Business Analytics
As part of the Master's program in Business Analytics, we offer a specialization in the form of a minor (in which courses from the Master's program in Banking and Finance must be completed) in English.

Master Applied Economics
As part of the Master's program Applied Economics we offer an elective module.
