Since the Great Financial Crisis the topics of trust and CSR, or generally ethics, are increasingly (re-) entering mainstream research in economics, finance and business. Call for Papers and Participation zum 6ten Workshop "Banks and Financial Markets", welcher am 20. und 21. Oktober 2016 an der Universität Wien, Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaft, stattfindet. 



The workshop "Accounting, Information and Financial Crises" is held at the University of Graz on November 4-5, 2015. The workshop is organised by the Research Group on "Financial Crises" of the ÖFG and the Center for Accounting Research at the University of Graz. The submission of research papers on the recent financial crises of the new millennium was invited (Call for Papers). The program can be found here. The 32nd Annual Conference of the European Association of Law and Economics (EALE) will be held from 17 to 19 September 2015 in Vienna, Austria at the University of Vienna, Law School and Economics Faculty. Contributions on Banking, European Union Law, and Psychology and the Law (including Neuroeconomics) are particularly welcome. In memory of the late Göran Skogh, "founding mother" of EALE, a special session will be organized with papers focusing on the law and economics of crime, insurance and enviromental policy. There are two awards available: The Göran Skogh Award for the most promising paper presented and the open prize of EUR 3,000 for the best paper in the areas of "Tax Competition", "Tax Compliance" and/or "Law & Economics and the Financial Crises", with the prize fund kindly donated by Deloitte Austria.  For further information please inform at Call for paper
